Sayles, author of Alphie And The Alphabets.
"Deeply
Committed Reading Help
Alayne Sayles is a compassionate, dedicated teacher who makes
a point of finding a way to connect with every child. Her
sing-along materials are inspired and her insights into kids'
learning styles and issues are invaluable." -- Laura
G. (mother of two children)
Sessions are designed to help children gain self-confidence,
to build a strong reading foundation, to develop reading fluency,
and to acquire several reading strategies.
Alphie And The Alphabets is part of the Studio's 'literacy
through music' program.
The Alphie sing-along method is a memory device which facilitates
learning to read using original reading songs that have proven
successful for hundreds of children.
Phonics and whole language are introduced through song, story,
and music.
Children enjoy reading and singing daily at home using tapes
that they
themselves record during tutoring sessions.
Alayne
Sayles is state certified in reading, nursery, and
elementary education. She is an ASCAP songwriter and has written
songs for children of all ages.
